Job Vacancy: Apprentice Web Developer

Once again Squelch Design is looking for an apprentice web developer (please note: this role was filled August 2015).

Job Vacancy

We’re looking for young bedroom-coders with a strong desire to learn. The scheme would be expected to last approximately 18 months, and would be paid at a rate of £150 per week.

Berkshire Based Web Design Agency

Squelch Design is a small but fast-growing design agency based at Greenham Business Park near Newbury. We specialise in creating WordPress websites for small and medium sized enterprises all across the UK but primarily in the West Berkshire area.

The company continues to grow and we are at a point where we need to take on more staff to keep up with demand. We are looking, ideally, for somebody who loves writing software and takes great pride in doing so. We call them “bedroom-coders”, people who’ve already tried writing software just for the fun of it and are now thinking “maybe I could do this for a living?”

How To Apply

If that sounds like you then we’ve got a job lined up for you. The right candidate will be enrolled onto an apprenticeship scheme with Newbury College, studying at the college one day a week and working the other four at the Squelch Design office. You will receive hands-on training as you go and will be involved in a variety of both internal and external development projects. And after the scheme is finished the right apprentice will also go on to become a fully fledged software developer within the company.
