The customer, in choosing to branch out on her own, needed a website. It was expected that most business would be won through the website and so it had to perform well both from a user experience perspective and also from a search engine optimisation perspective.
We worked with a designer chosen by the customer to build a bespoke WordPress website that had built-in e-commerce functionality using the WP-ecommerce system. This in turn integrated with the customer’s chosen payment gateway provider. SEO has been provided as an ongoing concern.
The site has performed excellently, typically occupying the coveted number one spot in the search engines for one of the customer’s chosen search phrases. Other phrases are being worked on and we expect to move these to the top of Google before the end of the year.
