Your logo is only a part of your brand, there’s so much more to branding than just your logo!

Branding is about more than just your logo

It’s about more than just your logo. It’s about more than just your website. It’s about more than your tagline or the way you write your emails to your customers. Branding is about EVERYTHING your company says and does.

For example if you name your company “Ethical Stuff” but then get caught up in a very unethical scandal (as has happened recently to one large supermarket chain) then your branding is confused, and your customers will be too. If your company’s branding is all about luxury and high-end products, yet everything you sell is cheap and tacky, your customers will be confused.

Tell. Your. Story.

I keep repeating this phrase because it’s so critical. Use your branding to tell your company’s story. Decide what it is you want your brand to be before you start trading, then stick to it. You can rebrand later if you want to go in a different direction, but it’s easier and cheaper to have a plan from the beginning and stick to it.
