Tip 4: Sometimes less is more

Make your website’s content skimmable and avoid unnecessary detail.

Website quick tip #4:

Tell people what you’re offering, but don’t say TOO much.

Try to keep your website as succinct as possible. Make sure you’re telling people what they need to know and not just bombarding them with information.

Often when we are building websites we find ourselves having to summarise text because there’s simply too much.

Your website needs to be skimmable

If you really want to elaborate on your goods or services then start with an executive summary and then write one or two paragraphs under more specific headings further down the page, in the style of a product demo or tour.

Consider saving nitty gritty details for your blog. Consider telling your story visually, with pictures and videos.
